End of Life Services in Austin, Texas

Culturally Rooted, Grief and Death Care for your family
Rooted in the sacred traditions of my ancestors across Turtle Island, my end-of-life services are a heartfelt offering of care, ceremony, and support. With deep sensitivity and cultural reverence, I accompany individuals and their loved ones through the final chapter of life—honoring death as a natural, sacred passage.
-
End-of-Life Doula Services
I provide non-medical, emotional, and spiritual support for individuals and their loved ones in the final stages of life—offering presence, comfort, and guidance through transition.
-
Vigil/Sitting Bedside: Providing a calming presence for both the dying and their families, ensuring they are safe and not alone. Respite for Caregivers: Offering much-needed breaks for caregivers, allowing them time to replenish and rest.
-
Gentle Touch & Songs for the Dying: With compassion and reverence, I offer gentle touch using hands and healing herbs, accompanied by soothing songs through voice, flute, and drum. These practices are shared to bring comfort, presence, and a sense of connection during the sacred transition of dying. As hearing is often the last sense to remain, these sounds and sensations can offer profound peace—not only to the dying, but to their loved ones as well. I have witnessed this offering bring deep comfort and tenderness in life’s final moments.
-
Custom Herbal Remedies for Grief Support: I tailor herbal remedies to assist with the emotional journey of grief and loss, focusing on herbs that support the nervous system and heart.
-
Vigil Planning and Facilitation: I work with families to co-create vigils that honor the dying with dignity and love—whether rooted in ancestral tradition, spiritual practice, or personal meaning. These gatherings can include storytelling, sacred songs, ritual elements, and intentional silence.
-
Ancestral Ritual Integration: Drawing from the ceremonial wisdom of my teachers and the Indigenous traditions, I incorporate rituals such as altar building (ofrendas), smoke and water offerings, prayer, and guided blessings, tailored with cultural sensitivity and respect.
-
Grief Support Platicas & Circles
After death, I offer facilitated space for mourning and remembrance 1-1 or in community. These circles are grounded in collective healing practices and communal care, honoring the sacredness of loss. Although grief can feel like a solitary journey, it is not meant to be walked alone.
-
Cultural Consultation for Ceremonies
For families wishing to incorporate specific indigenous cultural traditions into funerals, memorials, or celebrations of life, I offer guidance to ensure practices are honored authentically and respectfully.
